Welcome to MasterPhysics. This Refund & Returns Policy explains our practices for refunds, cancellations, and returns for purchases made on masterphysics.in (the “Site”). By purchasing from the Site, you agree to the terms below. If you have questions, contact us at admin@masterphysics.in.
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Digital products (online courses, downloadable e‑books, PDFs, worksheets, video files)
- Subscription services (membership plans, recurring access to course libraries)
- Physical products (if sold on the Site — printed books, stationery, or other tangible goods)
If your purchase includes both digital and physical items, each item is handled according to its product type.
2. Important definitions
- Digital Product: Any non‑tangible downloadable or streamable content (e‑books, PDFs, video lessons, audio, course access).
- Physical Product: Tangible items shipped to you (printed books, materials).
- Subscription: Recurring billing arrangement that gives access for a period (monthly, yearly).
3. Summary — What we generally offer
- Digital (one‑time purchases): Non‑refundable in most cases (see exceptions below). Instant access or downloads begin immediately after payment.
- Subscriptions: You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellations stop future recurring charges but do not usually result in a prorated refund for the current billing period (exceptions considered case‑by‑case).
- Physical products: Eligible for return or exchange within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused and in original condition (buyer pays return shipping unless item is damaged or incorrectly shipped).
4. Digital products — full details
4.1 Instant access & the nature of digital goods
Because digital products are delivered instantly (downloads or streaming), once access is granted we cannot “take back” the product. For this reason, we generally do not offer refunds for digital purchases.
4.2 Exceptions (when refunds may be granted)
We may grant a refund in the following situations, at our discretion:
- The product is defective (corrupted files or inaccessible content) and we cannot repair/replace it within a reasonable time.
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge or clear technical error).
- You purchased the wrong product by mistake and notify us within 48 hours and have not downloaded or accessed the material (we may require proof).
- We misrepresented the product in a material way on the product page.
If an exception applies, we will investigate and — if approved — process a refund to the original payment method.
4.3 How to request a digital refund
- Email admin@masterphysics.in with subject line: Digital Refund Request — [Order ID].
- Provide: order number, date of purchase, email used, product name, and a short explanation.
- Attach screenshots or files demonstrating the issue (if applicable).
We typically respond within 3–7 business days. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method and may take 5–14 business days to appear (depending on your bank/card issuer).
5. Subscriptions & recurring billing
- You can cancel recurring subscriptions anytime from your account dashboard or by emailing support.
- Cancellation stops future billing. We do not generally issue prorated refunds for the remainder of the current billing period, but will consider exceptions if you contact us with a clear reason.
- If you believe a charge is fraudulent or unauthorized, contact us immediately so we can investigate and, if appropriate, refund the charge.
6. Physical products — returns & exchanges
6.1 Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Request a return within 7 calendar days of delivery.
- Item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Include original receipt or order confirmation.
6.2 Non‑returnable items
- Products that are clearly used, damaged by the buyer, or missing original tags/packaging.
- Customized/printed‑to‑order materials (unless faulty).
6.3 Faulty or damaged shipments
If your product arrives damaged or defective, email support@masterphysics.in within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or refund (including return shipping costs) after verifying the damage.
6.4 Return process
- Contact support for an RMA (Return Authorization) and return instructions.
- Pack the item securely and ship to the address provided.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of refund/exchange approval.
- Refunds to the original payment method take 5–14 business days after approval (bank processing times vary).
Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged on arrival).
7. Refund timing & method
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
- It may take 5–14 business days for the refunded amount to show in your bank/card statement, depending on the financial institution.
- We will notify you by email when a refund is processed.
8. Chargebacks & disputes
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us, we may be limited in our ability to assist. We ask that you contact admin@masterphysics.in first so we can resolve the issue quickly. If a chargeback is reversed in our favor after we have already provided a refund or replacement, we reserve the right to recover the funds.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on the Site and take effect on the stated revision date.
10. Governing law & consumer rights
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy; nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights that you may have under applicable law.
